Selected Actor Filmography
Lindsay Sloane
A professional actress since childhood, Lindsay Sloane has literally grown up in front of the camera. Her first role of note was as a classmate of Kevin Arnold (Fred Savage) in "The Wonder Years" for ABC. She was a series regular on the 1996 NBC sitcom "Mr. Rhodes" and the ABC Friday night hit "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch." In 2002 she was cast in a lead role in the WB Network show-within-a-show "Grosse Pointe," a dead-on spoof of the "Beverly Hills, 90210" genre. Sloane's painfully insecure portrayal of Marcy Sternfeld, the needy, probably bulimic ingenue, garnered a great deal of industry attention and let to an inevitable jump into features. In the 2000 hit comedy "Bring It On," Sloane's Big Red, the drill sergeant of a cheer captain, savored every minute of torture she was able to inflict upon Kirsten Dunst's Torrance Shipman. More recently she co-starred, opposite Michael Douglas, Albert Brooks and Ryan Reynolds, in the 2003 remake of the comedy classic "The In-Laws." In 2006, Lindsay filmed a co-staring role in a romantic comedy entitled "How I Met My Boyfriends Dead Fiancee" opposite Paul Rudd, Eva Longoria and Lake Bell. She is currently in production on the feature "The Accidental Husband" for director Griffin Dunne in which she co-stars opposite Uma Thurman and Colin Firth.
