Born in Vancouver, Rogen landed supporting roles in Judd Apatow’s in television comedies, “Freaks and Geeks” and “Undeclared”. In 2005, he was cast in Apatow's The 40-Year-Old Virgin. The same year he was nominated for an Emmy Award® for Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy on HBO’s “Da Ali G Show.” He wrote, produced and acted in Knocked Up, the picture took in $150 million at the domestic box office. Other roles include Superbad, The Spiderwick Chronicles (narrator), Horton Hears a Who! and Kung Fu Panda.
Rogen co-wrote the screenplay Drillbit Taylor. He also starred in Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Observe and Report, Funny People, Monsters vs. Aliens. Rogen is also set to star in The Green Hornet, a project he and his writing partner Evan Goldberg are penning and executive producing. |
