SYNOPSIS
Written by J.C. Chandor, Margin Call focuses on the key people at a prominent investment bank, and their turbulent experiences in the early stages of the 2008 financial crisis. It is a contained tale of the men and women who work there, their lives, their humanity, and the roller-coasters that can happen in that environment. During a 24-hour-period, they all begin to realize that their company has been over-leveraged to the brink of bankruptcy, and that historically significant and sweeping changes are now inevitable.
