SYNOPSIS
A remake of the 1981 cult classic, Sam Worthington stars as Perseus, the mortal son of Zeus, king of the gods. Liam Neeson takes on the role of the mighty Zeus, and Ralph Fiennes plays the role of Hades, god of the underworld, who feeds on human fear. Rounding out the cast is Gemma Arterton as Io, Perseus' mysterious spiritual guide throughout his journey; Mads Mikkelsen as Draco, who takes up his sword to join Perseus' quest; Jason Flemyng as Acrisius, a one-time king turned hideous beast; and Alexa Davalos as Andromeda, a princess doomed to lose her life if Perseus does not succeed.

This remake is,no way,comparable to the original with Laurence Olivier as Zeus and brilliant stop-motion effects. I still enjoyed the remake for it set desgns,make-up,scenery but especially those battle scenes.Impressive battle scenes with Perseus,and Medusa - worthwhile film for a few hour of escapism but do see the film in 2D--don't waste your money on 3D version!

Saw it once will want to see it again.
Loved the gods' and humans' costumes and acting. Takes the audience away to another world.
