SYNOPSIS
Based on Cormac McCarthy's novel and adapted by Joe Penhall, this is set after a nuclear explosion, is the post-apocalyptic nightmarish road trip of a man who tries to transport his son to safety while fending off starving stragglers and marauding packs of cannibals. Theron, who will play the wife of Mortensen's character, will be seen mostly in flashback.
