SYNOPSIS

Scripted by D'Arienzo and based on the hit Broadway musical, the story centers on two people who meet at the Sunset Strip club "Rock of Ages" and fall for one another against the backdrop of '80s rock anthems popularized by Journey, Twisted Sister, Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, Bon Jovi and REO Speedwagon. Akerman will play a journalist who, attempting to do a story on Cruise's rock star character, winds up spending the night with him.
