Set in the near future, when technology allows for the resuscitation of humans and the "backing up" of their memories onto a computer. Cage plays a cop who gets "backed-up" and wakes up 90 days later with a gap in his memory. Learning that he was murdered and his wife has left him, Cage's character is intent on hunting down his murderer and figuring out what he did during the missing days that ruined his life.
