The project, described as "What Women Want" meets "Boomerang," centers on America's most widely read female advice columnist, Deliah, who has a secret -- she's a he (McConaughey). By day, he produces a male-oriented cable television show; by night, he doles out sage sisterly advice under a pseudonym. The ruse is going well until his editor begins asking Deliah to make public appearances. The man hires an actress to portray Deliah, and he thinks she's the perfect woman for him as well. At the same time, one of his lovelorn colleagues starts writing his alias for advice about him.
