This is about the relationship between the famous writer and a pair of murderers. While researching for his book In Cold Blood, Truman Capote formed a strong bond with Dick Hickock and Perry Smith, who murdered a family of four in 1959. Philip Seymour Hoffman plays the writer. Keener would play Capote's friend, "To Kill a Mockingbird" novelist Harper Lee, while Cooper would play the investigator in the "In Cold Blood" crime.
