This is based on the one-time top cop's autobiography, "The Lost Son: A Life in Pursuit of Justice." The untitled feature project will follow Kerik's life, from his troubled beginnings in Paterson, N.J., to his time as a warden, a specialist in international security and anti-terrorism and the leader of the world's largest municipal police force. During Kerik's career in law enforcement, he spent time as a narcotics detective, going undercover to buy drugs, seizing millions of dollars of cocaine from the drug lords of the Cali cartel and being awarded the police department's medal of valor for saving the life of a fellow officer.
