This is based on the popular cartoon Mighty Mouse who made his first appearance in 1942 as a defender of mice from feline villains, using the flying skills and strength of Superman. The mouse would sing the trademark line "Here I come to save the day."

Variety reports that Paramount Pictures have hired Maurice Chauvet and Christopher Vail. Alos on the team are producers John Woo and producing partner Terence Chang, along with Nick Film execs Albie Hecht and Julia Pistor. Barry Jackson will provide concept design work with Nick performing the animation work inhouse.
