Written by Doug Wright, based on a novel by Tish Cohen, the story is envisioned as a character comedy about an agoraphobic man living with his teenage son in a historic Boston town house he inherited from his rock-star father. With royalties from his father's work dwindling, the man is forced to come to terms with his life; he falls in love with the ditzy Realtor assigned to sell his home after the bank has foreclosed on it.
