Adapted by Don Roos with the latest version written by Scott Frank, this is based on Philadelphia Inquirer columnist John Grogan's memoir of life with his yellow Labrador retriever. Wilson plays the ambitious reporter who moves with his wife (Aniston) to Miami for a newspaper job. Dane will play the journo's best friend, who suggests that the reporter adopt a puppy as a substitute for the children his wife wants to have. Marley morphs from an adorable Lab puppy into an incorrigible handful.
