Based on the novel "Fishing on the Edge: The Mike Iaconelli Story" written by Iaconelli with Andrew Kamenetzky and Brian Kamenetzky, this is the autobiography of a star on the competitive bass fishing circuit and follows Iaconelli's background as a child in New Jersey to prominence in the world of pro fishing. Iaconelli, one of the few non-Southern competitors, cemented his star status by winning the 2003 Citgo Bassmaster Classic. He used that victory to become the sport's best-known figure, with multiple appearances on ESPN talkshows and magazine profiles.
