Way before The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Rushmore, 1996’s Bottle Rocket featured Owen and Luke Wilson’s first on-screen appearance and eventually became an indie breakout thanks to passed on used VHS copies. We went through the coffers of the internet and found this bootleg watchable quality to find the short B&W short film that served as the template for his feature length debut film.
