SYNOPSIS
Scripted by Tony Kushner, this is based on the Doris Kearns Goodwin book, "Team of Rivals,". The story focuses on the life of the United States' 16th President, his rise to politics and his role in the Civil War. Daniel Day-Lewis is slated to take on the role of Lincoln with Sally Field playing his wife, Mary Todd. Tommy Lee Jones will play Thaddeus Stevens with Gordon Levitt as Robert Todd Lincoln.PREVIEW NOTES
