SYNOPSIS

Based on the book “We Bought a Zoo: The Amazing True Story of a Young Family, a Broken Down Zoo and the 200 Zoo Animals that Changed Their Lives Forever” by Benjamin Mee, scripted by Aline Brosh McKenna and rewritten by Crowe, this is about a single dad (Damon) who decides his family needs a fresh start, and moves them to the most unlikely of places: a zoo. With the help of the eclectic group of staff members, and with a lot of misadventures along the way, he and his two children will try to return the dilapidated zoo to its former wonder and glory.
