Yet his real dream is to paint and make films, something that his friends and even his girlfriend cannot understand. For them, politics is everything, the political struggle all consuming. But Gilles gradually becomes more comfortable with his life choices, and learns to feel at ease in this new society…(more)

Release Date/Status?: Currently in production, the French distributor has pegged the film with a September release which means this is looking to be a no-show for Cannes and obviously readied for Venice. IFC picked the film up early, so a theatrical release around NYFF time is definitely in the cards.
