The director behind the long delayed All the Boys Love Mandy Lane (will Senator ever release this film?) and Sundance semi-hit The Wackness has landed another possible directing gig for the big studio folks. THR reports that Jonathan Levine will lense The Sitter for Fox Atomic. The helmer is apparently joining a project that had many studios wondering what a current day Elisabeth Shue might look like. The spec began a bidding war that was settled back in January.

It looks like The Wackness will be helmer Jonathan Levine’s ticket to a secure future career. According to THR, two projects have been added to Levine’s plate and he's not limiting himself to the confines of the indie realm.

With principle set pieces of the dramedy already secured in Rogen, McAvoy, Kendrick and Dallas Howard, Variety reports that we now we have vets Anjelica Huston and Philip Baker Hall filling out the secondary roles in Jonathan Levine's (please don't re-title it) I'm With Cancer.
