Sixteen months after premiering at the 2017 edition of the Sundance Film Festival, Andrew Dosunmu’s fourth feature film (he third narrative) finally receives its theatrical release. Being fans of the filmmaker since Restless City, we were naturally on hand for the world premiere screening to Where is Kyra? (read our review) – a project that came about while the Fela biopic was put on hold. The film gets released tomorrow via Great Point Media and Paladin Film.
