Day 4: Live from Cannes: Disco and violence go hand in hand for ‘Tony Manero’

Pablo Larrain presented Tony Manero last night. The picture being presented in the Director’s Fortnight takes place in Santiago de Chile, 1978. The actor (see below on the right) plays a psycho-path, disco instructor and takes his obsession to crazy levels. So far it’s one of my festival favorites.
