Inside Jane Campion’s Creative Process for Bright Star

I find there is very little need for official film websites – for the most part they lack imagination and serve no purpose. I took great pleasure in recently discovering Jane Campion’s official production site for her latest film (which I’ll be covering at Cannes) Bright Star.

The site called a “production scrapbook” is just that. A visual scrapbook laid out and keeping with the period in which the film took place. The links com across like nooks and crannies and contains storyboards, art department stuff, location pics, Valentines, Campion and Ben Whishaw notes. For the film’s synopsis: start here.
