Sundance Journal: Day 4

Published on

Gondry!

So far its been 4 intense days…this is my daily routine. Wake up. Watch 4 or 5 films in a row. Catch a panel discussion in between. If I’m lucky grab a bite to eat and then get whatever sleep I can.

SCOOP: Apparently it was bought by Warner Independent Pictures in the last couple of hours. I’ll be posting my review of The Science of Sleep shortly – sorry for the quality of the pics and the lack of reviews…remind me to change “I love subtitles” for “I hate backlogs and picture-taking”.

Michel Gondry answered a handful of questions from the crowd.

Star of The Motorcycle Diaries adds his anecdotes.

Sundance will last a lot longer than the festival itself – I’ll be interviewing many of the directors who’ve presented some of the key films here. While I’m missing out on the parties and Paris Hilton gazing (I did spend one night slamming 2 places getting a little too excited by the premise of the “open bar” with my cool, gorgeous-looking roomies (shout-out to Noelle and Sarah – two classy dames who happen to be hot blondes which makes it alot easier to get into these V.I.P parties). But I’m not here for the free booze instead for things like getting to see Michel Gondry’s latest last night (world f-ing premiere!!! I’m excited like a little girl).
