TIFF Trailer: Romulus, My Father

It seems like an off year for Australian films, usually there is one premium choice on my must see list and this year so far nothing much on the radar. However, there is this dramatic number from usually an actor (now director) Richard Roxburgh. Featured in the TIFF's Special Presentations, Romulus, My Father is doing some representing and actor Eric Bana is also on board. To view the trailer – click on the poster image below.

Based on Raimond Gaitas' award-winning memoir and written by Nick Drake, this is the story of a young family's bid to start a new life in a hostile country (from Germany to Australia in 1950). The story focuses on the relationship between the boy and his father in the wake of his mother's death.
