List Worthy Reasons…: This may be Matt Piedmont’s directorial debut, but the filmmaker needs to introduction for the millions of folks who’ve watched his stuff on Funny or Die. Additionally, this year is a break-out year for the filmmaker, Sundance patrons will get to see his pair of Brick Novax shorts. We heart the chemistry in the Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna pairing (this is their third) and they pretty much know how Mexican ‘telenovela’ soaps work as they both come from this world and though he is more often miss than hit, you’ll want to compliment your viewing of Everything Must Go with this Will Ferrell perf – knowing his knack for great improv, I think he’ll let loose in this one.
Release Date/Status?: I’m not sure at what festival this will preem at, but it’ll be a hot title for pick-up despite the “subtitles”.
