Palme d’Or Marian Crisan Will Get Ready in the ‘Morgen’

Date:

Palme d’Or winner Marian Crisan (short film Megatron won at last year’s Cannes) is currently in pre-production for a Fall shoot for his feature length film debut. Morgen which tells story of a man living by the Romanian-Hungarian border who likes to fish but whose catch one day is a Kurdish immigrant is a Romanian-French coproduction by Mandragora’s Anca Puiu (currently in production with Aurora) and Slot Machine’s Marianne Slot (The Headless Woman). If all goes well with the production look for this to make the deadline for next year’s Cannes edition. Casting should be announced shortly and filming according to Filmneweurope will take place in the filmmaker’s own backyard (not the literal sense).
