Writer-director-star Jessie Kahnweiler‘s rom-did-he-rape-me-com is a multi-toned deconstruction of intention and consent that deftly demonstrates how we are walking, splintered variations of self.

I sat down with Kahnweiler (who was joined by her producer Tasha Petty) in Park City to discuss the need to immerse herself into her work (she plays the lead) and the vocabulary she utilizes to openly discuss sexual assault.
