Rasuk is Coming Back

There’s been a lot of buzz surrounding William H. Macy’s directorial debut, Keep Coming Back mostly because it’s the Oscar nominated actor’s first big-screen film. Now there’s another reason to talk about this movie – Victor Rasuk. The Harlem born 22-year-old, who many indie lovers will recognize from Raising Victor Vargas and/or part of the skateboarding ensemble of Lords of Dogtown, will play opposite Salma Hayek.

Keep Coming Back, written by Will Aldis, tells the story of Southern teen with severe heart palpitations doomed to a life of boredom. In order to escape his bland future, he decides to pursue a stripper twice his age (Hayek) going as far as to join Alcoholics Anonymous just to be near her.

So far this film deserves all the buzz it has been getting. Promising script, new (and probably great) director, and now two solid actors. Production starts in January, but I predict there’s going to be talk surrounding this one for a while.
