The Gist: This is inspired by the legendary Parisian hang-out. The film follows two story lines — one in the 1960s, one in the present — linked by a famous song. This sees a male Montreal DJ (Parent) and woman. And between a mother and her son with Down’s syndrome.. I’m looking for this film to further confirm the filmmaker’s status as a viable export.

Release Date/Status?: Certainly aiming for Cannes, this should receive a big festival release and could be locked up for U.S distribution following in the Villeneuves and Dolans.
