Tropfest@Tribeca adds Sept. date

Tribeca film fest is getting serious about shorts, Thanks to the nascent popularity of wasting hours of one’s life watching online short film viewing, a lot of people heading over the 1st edition of a film fest like Tropfest@Tribeca won’t feel out of place. A fixture at Tribeca’s film festival, the world’s largest short film festival – announced today that 16 finalists will get a chance to win plenty of loot on Sunday, September 23, 2007 where the selected films will premiere at a free public outdoor festival, held at the World Financial Center Plaza, alongside the Hudson River. The films will be judged onsite by a jury of well-known actors and filmmakers to be announced at a later date.

Eric Lavallée is the founder, CEO, editor-in-chief, film journalist, and critic at IONCINEMA.com, established in 2000.
