I’m gearing up for TIFF here, and in comes the first wave of pictures from Mike Mill’s sophomore feature Beginners – a film that should be at the top of many buyer’s lists next month, and is one of my most anticipated features of the year, as it’s been a long wait since Thumbsucker. Ewan McGregor plays a young man rocked by two announcements from his elderly father (Christopher Plummer)…one, that he has terminal cancer, and two, that he’s coming out of the closet. Here are a pair of pics we can add to this behind the scenes one we received early in the year featuring the filmmaker and one of the film’s stars.
