We never get tired of Woody and Woody never gets tired of making movies. These extended euro-vacation has definitely given us plenty to cheer about with Vicky Cristina Barcelona being his best so far we can hope that a bit of Penelope Cruz and a bit of everyone else (international cast plus Greta Gerwig meets Italians) will make for some ecstasy-filled, emotionally weighty comedic scenes.

We imagine this to be a back breaking drama and Cornish might fall into the heroine/best actress territory that a Jennifer Lawrence was in for Winter's Bone.

Ken Loach isn't showing any signs of slowing down in his fourth decade of filmmaking, but what's noteworthy in this portion of the Palme D'Or winning English filmmaker's career is how his material, and not his trademark realism is switching up the tone. Shot in Glasgow and penned by his right-hand man Paul Laverty, Loach is taking on another comedy (2009's Looking For Eric was his first successful attempt).

Sci-fi in September? Not sure why Sony isn't tent-poling the release of Rian Johnson's third film, which should be brimming with the same creative wit we became accustomed with his first pair of outings. This time travel caboose which sounds like the thinking man's version of Inception, oddly includes Joseph Gordon-Levitt (returning to the Johnson fold since Brick) and Paul Dano who is going to have one hell of a 2012.

If Gosling in Half Nelson had a significant other it might come across like this sophomore addiction/romance from Filmmaker magazine writer/filmmaker James Ponsoldt. Making it two for two at Sundance (Off the Black preemed back in 2006), this could give thesps Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Aaron Paul some major post-fest clout.
