2011 Sundance Predictions: Cary Fukunaga’s Jane Eyre

On March 11th, Focus Features releases Cary Fukunaga’s Jane Eyre in theaters. Even if Sundance was home to Cary Fukunaga’s breakout debut Sin Nombre, I seriously doubt whether the film the classic will take up a spot. Berlin appears to be a more likely candidate. Starring Michael Fassbender, Mia Wasikowska, Sally Hawkins, Jamie Bell, Imogen Poots and Judi Dench, this one is a slimmer than slim prediction on our part.

As Jane reflects upon her past and recovers her natural curiosity, she will return to Mr. Rochester – and the terrible secret that he is hiding…
