I have a penchant for films about the filmmaking process and an important factoid worth mentioning is that Strickland has a background in sound effect/recording profession so this should be of interest twofold.

The Gist: Berberian Sound Studio is one of the cheapest, sleaziest post-production studios in Italy. Only the most sordid horror films have their sound processed and sharpened in this studio.
