Jaime Rosales taking a ‘Shot’ at Cannes again

Date:

Looks like Cannes can count on some Spanish content this year – Jaime Rosales who feature in the Solitary Fragments (La Soledad) in the Un Certain Regard section, will most likley be showcasing his latest picture plucked directly from recent headlines: the plot for Un tiro en la cabeza (A Shot to the
Head
centers on the latest attack carried
out by the group in December 2007, when three members of ETA killed two
civil guard policemen in the French town of Capbreton.

Now in post-production, Cineuropa reports that Rosales took only a week to write the script and filming began straight away. The 14-day shoot took place in San Sebastián and the French region of Les Landes.
