Variety reports that Christopher Nolan can pretty much draw up a list of actors he wants to work with and the powers of the a major studio can magically make that occur. They swooped up a pair of the most in demand actresses around in the signing of Ellen Page and Marion Cotillard, with WB also hiring Cillian Murphy – the actor worked with Nolan in his pair of Batman films as the Scarecrow character. At this point the details of the sci-fi action film are still being kept secret, but Leonardo DiCaprio is cast in the lead.
