Orange of the Week: James Franco on Daytime Television

Date:

 Orange of the Week IONCINEMA.com

You have to appreciate an actor willing to go down to the minor leagues to learn more about the craft. James Franco is about to make a stint on the ongoing soap series General Hospital, and is more accurately, going this route not for a paycheck or lack of work but to research a future role in a feature length project – no mention of which film role that would be, but I’d be willing to bet a Nurse Betty-ish comedy part. It’ll be interesting to see prep work done in the public eye, and in the fictional town of Port Charles, and how it lends to whatever Franco does next. The Orange of the Week goes to actors, such as Franco, who go the “extra mile” to get into character – get a glimpse of him starting on the 20th of the following month.
