Oscar: Best Actress

Date:

Winner: Helen Mirren – The Queen
My Pick: Helen Mirren – The Queen
Outside the Box: Gretchen Mol – The Notorious Bettie Page

Comments: What a great year for leading ladies in film. Great roles made for many memorable performances – but hands down, Mirren owned this trophy since the film's release.
