The legend of Galahad and the Quest for the Holy Grail is one that has inspired knights errant and knaves alike for centuries. Galahad was said to be a descendent of king David of Israel by his father Lancelot, and therefore a direct relation of Jesus Christ. This relation, along with his spiritual purity – a spiritual love which garnered him the name “The Good Knight” – led to the tale that he, not Perceval, recovered the infamous Holy Grail and returned it to Christ. Legend tells that Galahad was allowed to see all the secrets the Grail held just before his death; at which time the Grail and Galahad’s lance, vanished from the earth forever.

Dunmore, a veteran of the U.K. advertising scene, has a reputation for poetic visuals and photographic as well visual flair. Dunmore brought his poetic touch and love of history to the screen in his first project, the Johnny Depp starrer The Libertine which followed the life of John Wilmot, a poet whose lavish lifestyle led him to his grave long before his works led him to infamy. Dunmore hopes to bring his talent and success as a commercial director to the big screen again with his latest project. In a 2005 interview for ‘Boards Dumore was quoted about his filmmaking, “One of the most rewarding things is working with different people. The only thing I can offer as a raw talent is my passion and my enthusiasm for each project. That goes a long way to achieving what we want to do as filmmakers … What you have to do from my point of view is bring that something extra nobody else could have brought to the spot.” No cast announcements have been made to date.
