Sundance Journal: Preview

Date:

There is a first time for everything, and this pea in a pod is sooooooooo looking forward to what will surely be amongst the better highlights of this early calendar year. Apart from sharing this atrocious image of myself (I apologize for those who are offended), this Sundance daily photo diary will hopefully share in my inaugural experience – capturing the sites, the festivities, the faces and more importantly the films that make 2 weeks in a snow-capped hilltop town called Park City, Utah so special.

IONCINEMA.com’s very own Eric Lavallee (hey – that’s me!) will be bypassing ski bunnies and snubbing perfect winter sport conditions all for the sake of watching movies, rubbing elbows and meeting the movers and future shakers in American independent cinema. Live from the heart of festival – Park City, Utah, IONCINEMA.com will provide cinephiles with a daily dose of the sights & sounds of the most prestigious and important event showcasing today’s and tomorrow’s best filmmaker voices. Expect plenty of treats and surprises with our inaugural 2006 edition coverage!

P.S.: A big thanks goes out to Gino Pagliuca for a.) making sure I never get laid again, b.) making me look like Steve Carell, or c.) taking some time out of his hectic schedule to entertain my so-called friends and generations to come.
