TIFF 2010 Top 10 New Faces: #8. Jeremy Dozier

Date:

#8. Jeremy Dozier – Dirty Girl

I’m not a fan of Abe Sylvia’s Dirty Girl, not a fan of the film’s characters but Jeremy Dozier, who shares the co-lead with Juno Temple (not a bad way to begin a film career), is surely set on a good path to future roles. Needle in a haystack can best describe the odds Dozier had to face in order to get the role — which begins as egg shell delicate and heats up into a flamboyant character. I could see Dozier being fished for stuff on Broadway, but I don’t expect him to be a flash in a pan if the Weinsteins do a great job in promoting the film. Listen in on this TIFF video for his future slate.
