List Worthy Reasons…: Part of the New Uruguayan Cinema movement (he was as assistant director on both “25 Watts” and “Whisky“), Manolo Nieto’s sophomore picture after 2006’s The Dog Pound (Best Film at Rotterdam) is being produced by the great Lisandro Alonso.

Release Date/Status?: We think this will show in Cannes at either the Un Certain Regrd, Directors’ Fortnight or Critics’ Week section. TIFF premiere should follow.
