With Since Otar Left, Bertucelli manages to bring about a full palette of emotions, from the bittersweet, to the sad and to the charmingly uplifting and is compounded by film’s final and silent rest stop which is perhaps the year’s best film ending.

Eric Lavallée is the founder, CEO, editor-in-chief, film journalist, and critic at IONCINEMA.com, established in 2000.
