Roadside & Goldwyn not so ‘Lonely’

It preemed at Tribeca last year, and despite a big name cast, the true nature of the tale and the film noir overcoating, Millennium Films’ Lonely Hearts was having the toughest time finding a home for distribution. Variety reports that regular dance partners Samuel Goldwyn Films and Roadside Attractions have picked up the film for their slate and will release the film April 13th 

Writer turned filmmaker Todd Robinson directed the project that stars Scott Caan, Laura Dern, James Gandolfini , Salma Hayek, Jared Leto, John Travolta

Based on the true story of two homicide detectives who captured and convicted Martha Beck (Hayek) and Raymond Martinez Fernandez, this is the story of Buster Robinson (Travolta) hot on the trail of a pair of deranged lovers on an interstate murdering spree. Robinson must follow the trail of clues and stop them before they kill again.
