More on the plate for Wong Kar-Wai

After nearly driving himself to the breaking point with his suicidal 5 year film project called 2046, it looks like that the Hong Kong filmmaker known to Cannes regulars as Wong Kar-wai has got a menu-full of projets ahead. Variety reports that after the release of My Blueberry Nights we can expect to see the filmmaker is climbing abord another project (yet his role is yet to be determined).

Somwhere bewteen his newest project Ashes of Time – Redux and The Lady From Shanghai, he helmer is joining a drama about lesbian love at a high school. Sounds like fun!

New pic is expected to begin shooting in Taiwan in April with Stanley Kwan will be executive producer while Yanni Wang will be behind the camera.
