2014 Sundance Film Festival Predictions: Nicholas McCarthy’s Home

Date:

Sundance starting breeding this horror-meister way back in 2005 when they invited Nicholas McCarthy to feature his short film Cry for Help. They invited him back in 2011 and 2012 for both the short and feature film version of The Pact. McCarthy hasn’t wasted much time putting together his sophomore film, Home. Production finished way back in January of this year, allowing the helmer to fine-tune the finished project one full year later. Television’s Naya Rivera (Glee) and Ashley Rickards (American Horror Story: Asylum) are joined by Catalina Sandino Moreno.

Gist: This follows a young woman investigating a house that appears to be haunted by the previous tenant who unwittingly welcomed the devil into her life.

Production Co./Producers: Sonny Mallhi (The Strangers 2)

Prediction: Another Park City at Midnight showing would be logical.

U.S. Distributor: Rights Available
