Carolina Iacucci started focusing on film studies while writing her bachelor’s degree about the relationship between Ingmar Bergman and the Greek playwright Euripides. After finalizing her studies in Classics, she is a Phd Candidate in Comparative Literature at the University of Florence, a teacher of Italian and Latin literature, and a freelance film critic based in Bologna. In 2016, she was part of the Short Film Selection Committee at XVIII Fano International Film Festival and attended at the ‘Critica ritrovata’ Trainee Program for Film Critics promoted by the film archive ‘Cineteca di Bologna’. In 2018 she took part in the Berlinale Press Talent’s platform for emerging journalists.
