Potente is the ‘Pope’
Call it going full circle for the German film star - after donning the mad red dyed hair in her break out 2228 Run Lola Run, now she might be covering herself up in the blood-colored cape that the Pope himself uses on special outings. Franka Potente will star as a female pope in Volker Schloendorff’s newest project which begins principal photography is expected to begin in May 2007.
A New Hands-On project for Altman
It sounds like what hardcore bodybuilders like to do the most, but it’s actually a competition that would be of great preparation for some of the challenges on television’s Survivor. The Hands on a Hard Body was the focal point of a 98’ documentary film and now it might become a full length feature. What is surprising is the helmer who has wanted to direct the project as The Hollywood Reporter states “for years”.

Like adding a stamp of instant credibility to a production, Variety reports that Sidney Kimmel Entertainment have added thesp Patricia Clarkson
for the upcoming November shoot of Lars And The Real Girl. The one time top 3 script not produced in Hollywood will be distributed by MGM and produced by Sidney Kimmel, John Cameron and Sarah Aubrey.
