Huge fans of both his second (Tony Manero) and third (Post Mortem) features, we hope that Larrain's subversive, edgy style in all things related to his beloved, politically challenged Chile somehow continue with this project -- which appears lighter in tone and boasts the good-natured Gael Garcia Bernal (an actor we like best when working with more challenging, auteur-driven material as recently witnessed in The Loneliest Planet.
Top 100 Most Anticipated Films of 2012: #32. Martin McDonagh’s Seven Psychopaths
Martin McDonagh blasted onto the seen with the highly likeable In Bruges. Key to the film was the presence of Colin Farrell. In this film the Irishman is being paired with Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell, Christopher Walken, Abbie Cornish, Olga Kurylenko and a bottle of whiskey. Such an ensemble could pay dividends once again.
