Factory 25 is Obsessive about Andrew Semans’ Nancy, Please

Date:

The Brooklyn distrib label that we adore has added one more indie treat to their upcoming slate with Andrew Semans’ Nancy, Please. The 2012 Tribeca preemed title is set for a May 24th NYC release.

Gist: This tells the story of Paul (Will Rogers), a young, gifted, and aimless Yale University student who has just moved in with his girlfriend and is struggling to complete his dissertation before embarking on a career in academia. There’s just one snag: as Paul is unpacking his belongings, he discovers that he has left something behind, and only his obstinate and casually sinister former roommate, Nancy, can give it back to him.

Worth Noting: Hendricks (Bad Fever, Daddy Longlegs and The Dish & the Spoon) was the acting coach on Beasts of the Southern Wild giving tons of insight to the diminutive Quvenzhané Wallis. She got a Best Actress nod. Not too shabby in the training department.

Do We Care? Nancy, Please appears to be right up our alley – dark, small indie film. Media items and the general praise from critics are above par and Factory 25 have come to prove themselves as a label with great taste.
